Jumeirah has hired Thomas Meier as its new CEO as it gears up to double its portfolio by 2030.
Stepping into the leadership role from his position as chief operating officer, Meier will focus on the luxury hotel chain’s plan to expand internationally, adding to its portfolio of 30 hotels across the Middle East, Europe, Africa and Asia.
Jumeirah recently unveiled two new hotels in Tanzania and South Africa, Jumeirah Red Sea in Saudi Arabia, Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab in the United Arab Emirates, and Jumeirah Le Richemond Geneva in Switzerland.
Meier has over 20 years of experience in the luxury hospitality sector and has led operations and global expansion for renowned brands including Raffles.
