Extendam and Vicartem have teamed up to purchase 88-key Atlas Hotel Brussels.
Located on Rue du Vieux Marché aux Grains, the 3-sta hotel is set to undergo major renovation works to transform it into a 4-star independent boutique hotel.
Atlas Hotel Brussels sits close to the Grand Place and is located in the Dansaert district. The hotel will be developed and operated by Younight Hospitality, a subsidiary of Vicartem.
What they said
Extendam managing partner Inès de l’Aulnoit and account manager Alexandre Guérin said: “The Belgian market has always been interesting to us. Since the pandemic, the hotel sector has fully regained its dynamism and showed a revpar growth of +13.6 per cent from 2019 to 2023. Thanks to the acquisition and value-add transformation of the Atlas Brussels Hotel, we are completing an independent boutique hotel segment, currently not very present in the Belgian capital.”
Vicartem general manager Romain Gowhari and Aymeric O’Mahony added: “The Atlas Hotel Brussels has strong potential. The Belgian capital continues to reinvent itself, attracting a diverse clientele, whether business or leisure. Its identity, both cosmopolitan and deeply rooted in history, creates an ideal environment for ambitious projects. With a vibrant cultural scene and openness to the world, Brussels continues to evolve into an essential destination. The Atlas Hotel Brussels aims to reflect this spirit, offering a perfect balance between comfort, elegance and local immersion, thus meeting the expectations of a modern and demanding clientele.”
