B&B Hotels has purchased five UK hotel sites, furthering its UK-wide expansion plan.
The budget hotel chain has purchased the Pentahotel hotels on Ranelagh Road near Ipswich station and on Academy Street in Inverness Scotland as well as three more sites in Birmingham, Warrington and Ipswich.
B&B says the Pentahotel sites will undergo a short period of light renovation however, the hotel will remain open.
The purchases are the latest development in B&B’s plan to open 100 hotels in the UK by 2035, and come amid reports that private equity companies KKR, CVC and PAI Partners are amongst those who have tabled offers to purchase B&B Hotels from Goldman Sachs.
