Invel Real Estate has provided €111.2 million in financing to support the redevelopment of the former Hotel Majestic into Baccarat Hotel Rome.
Located on Via Veneto, the property is undergoing a comprehensive refurbishment programme which will see it turned into an 87-key ultra-luxury hotel. The hotel will also comprise a restaurant and a rooftop bar/lounge with panoramic views of the city.
Baccarat Hotels & Resorts will be operated by SH Hotels & Resorts, soon to be Starwood Hotels.
Construction of the new hotel is already underway, with opening expected by the end of 2026.
Invel currently has over 2,000 keys under management across the Mediterranean.
