Yotel is set to expand its portfolio in the UK and Europe with the opening of YOTEL Belfast, its eighth property in the UK and first on the island of Ireland.
Located in Belfast's Shaftesbury Square, the new-build hotel will comprise 165 rooms, a food and beverage concept, a 24/7 fitness centre and a meeting room.
Yotel's expansion into Belfast is part of the brand’s broader strategy to introduce the hotel concept to more cities across Ireland, the UK and around the world, with new openings currently planned in cities including Tokyo, Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur.
A proposal of application notice has been submitted to Belfast City Council, kickstarting the planning process for the proposed development, with opening expected in late 2026.
