PPHE has secured planning permission to build a 186-room hotel on Westminster Bridge in London’s South Bank.
Located at 79-87 Westminster Bridge Road opposite Lambeth North station, the mixed use midscale hotel-led development will comprise 186 rooms over 15 storeys, two floors of office and light industrial floorspace as well as flexible use ground floor public space featuring an all-day dining bar and cafe.
PPHE bought the site for £12 million in 2019 and is currently working on detailed designs for the project. The hotel will be the FTSE 250 hospitality real estate group’s fifth hotel in the Waterloo area and will join a portfolio of 51 properties across the UK, the Netherlands, Italy, Germany, Hungary, Austria, Croatia and Serbia.
