Hotel chain firm Oyo has resumed its expansion in the UK, adding 40 hotels to its platform and doubling its revenue in 2022, signalling post-pandemic recovery.
Oyo said revenue per available room (revpar) in its network hotels shot up 50% in 2022 compared with 2021, with the same metric up 110% compared with 2020.
The India-based company now has over 150 hotels in 65 cities across the UK, with the addition of new hotels in Otterburn, Folkestone, Worcester, Swansea, Crewe, Kidderminster, Solihull, Peterhead & Boston.
However, as at December 2020, Oyo had over 250 hotels in its UK network.
