Slate Property Group buys Radisson Hotel Wall Street for $94.5m

Slate Property Group has bought Radisson Hotel New York Wall Street for $94.5 million.

Slate Property Group - an owner, operator, developer and lender which focuses on multifamily properties – purchased the 289-key hotel from New York-based hotel developer McSam Hotel Group.

Located on 52 William Street, the 20-storey hotel was built in 1902 and in 2006, was sold by BNY Mellon to Rockwood Capital for $92.1 million.

In 2017, it was purchased by McSam Hotel Group for $95 million and underwent a renovation in 2018. The hotel became a homeless shelter in 2020, and by 2023 was used to house migrants and asylum seekers.
